The Art Of Seduction: By Robert Greene

This is one of the greatest books that I personally have ever read, aside from the 48 laws of power, which will also be reviewed, and from the same author as well. I will start off by saying that this book is not an easy read. That being said, it is well worth the time you invest in it. What you will learn is absolutely priceless.

Another reviewer states: This book explains the psychology of seduction. With examples throughout history it shows what works, and what doesn't. It doesn't start from the humanistic premise that all people are generally good, but from the biblical idea that "all men are evil" and will do evil. This makes the book downright devilish, and extremely practical and useful.

Approach indirectly, play the coquette, mix pleasure with pain, insinuate, "Use the demonic power of words to sow confusion", be hard to figure out. These are just some examples and this stuff works. This is a handbook on manipulation. Although it can also be used to avoid being manipulated (very usefull, indeed).

Do yourself a favor, learn from the past, not only your past but the past of peoples from the dawn of time. This book was worth every cent.

The 48 Laws Of Power: By Robert Greene

As mentioned above, this was inevitably going to be the next review on the list. These two books go so well together, they play off each-other, and leave you perceiving your surroundings with a whole new perspective. I used what I learned from this book and applied it to getting a raise at work, seizing my moments, and so much more. A definite must read!

As another reviewer notes: This book appeals on so many levels. As the author states himself, the book "...can be used in several ways." He divides its uses into 3 categories: 1) a guide to power in general; 2) browsing for a law applicable in one's life; and 3) browsing for entertainment.

This culling of 3,000 years of philosophy, literature and wisdom, distilled into 48 "laws", is a fascinating read all the way through. The book sites so many historical references and quotes that reading the red notes in the margins of the book is fascinating in itself.

I neither advocate nor dismiss these "laws", but reading about them goes far to explain much that I see in today's cut-throad Corporate world - I see that nothing has changed except the literal bloodshed which has been replaced by the metaphorical bloodshed happening in thousands of boardrooms across the US on a daily basis.

If you too are swimming with the sharks, this is a must read!

The Game: By Style AKA Neil Strauss

For anyone who has not read this book, this is another must read! It's a very simple read, but will open your eyes to a world you would have otherwise never known about. While I wouldn't recommend using any of the played out lines in this book, I would still highly recommend getting a copy of it for your personal library.

As another reviewer points out: Strauss eloquently offers a beautifully written account on his journey from being a mediocre man into an Alpha Male. While reading the novel, "Style's style sucked me into his world made it felt as if I was actually sharing the protagonist's success and every fall that accompanies the grim side of the Game. The book is also beautifully made as well - great layout, typography, and designed with flexible "Leather" cover with round edges to prevent the corners from folding. A gorgeous addition to any bookshelf.

THE GAME is not just a story of a man journey to truly accept himself, but a fabulous book about gaining confidence, smashing obstacles, and simply, living a balance healthy lifestyle. Oh, there are also pickup tips too. Tons of them.

The ABS Diet: By editor in chief of Men's Health Magazine; David Zinczenko

This is a book dedicated to those who want to improve themselves physically. It will provide you with a list of powerfoods that will guarantee your success in forming s six pack. It is a great read, and will really open your eyes to the nutritional and health benefits of certain foods. It will tell you which foods help fight off cancers, and which foods help metabolize your system. Also a fantastic read.

From another reviewers perspective: I have long sought a weight-loss plan which allowed you to take a sensible approach to eating, while incorporating all of the food groups. The Abs Diet is it. I began the diet a couple of weeks ago and have begun to see results in the loss of belly-fat. As a middle age woman whose genes have suggested a predisposition to a "thick middle," I have found that the diet alone has left me totally satisfied, while eating the foods that I like, in sensible nutritious amounts. I have lost my craving for sugary foods through the fruit that I eat everyday, and I have found that the small amount of pasta and bread that I eat has overcome the craving for carbs.

South Beach and Atkins watch out! I expect that when I begin to work out again(I am recovering from shoulder surgery) I will experience major results, while living a healthier lifestyle! I am a vegetarian, so I must carefully monitor my protein intake. The inclusion of 3 snacks a day has allowed me to ingest a healthier level of nutrients.

Rich Dad Poor Dad: By Robert Kiyosaki

This is a book dedicated to those who want to improve themselves Financially. I read this book a few years back, and boy did it open my eyes to a financial world i would have otherwise never known existed. It was a fantastic read, well structured, and easy to follow. By the time I was done reading this book, I was already looking for the next book in the "Rich Dad" series. What an amazing book to read if you want some financial literacy. Highly Highly Recommended!

As per another reviewer: This is THE book that changed my thinking entirely about the Rat Race, my University education, and how the system works in general. In short, it caused me to change my thinking entirely and to stop doing what the poor do, and begin doing all the things the Rich do instead.

This book does not go into great detail about HOW to become wealthy but it does give you the necessary insight to think how the Rich do, and to begin mapping out your how. For me, Real Estate, Stocks and Options trading, and Network Marketing with Usana are my HOW. Robert Kiyosaki, Donald Trump, and Robert G. Allen all have terrific books with details on how to get these streams of income working for you:
